Venus in the 2nd house

To be in the 2nd House, Venus, and all it governs, is important to you materially.
It is natural for you to be provided for by those whom socialize with you (friends, family, lovers), as opposed to taking care of yourself. It does not necessarily mean that you seek such situations intentionally, though some may. You may just find that people tend pay your way even when they are not asked. If you are of a personality that'd rather pay his/her own way, you may find it annoying.
