The Sun in a 180 degree opposition aspect to Uranus is a difficult dissociative aspect, reflecting unresolved mutinous drives within the personality. It is a strenuous aspect that can have rather unusual manifestations, although they sometimes may not be apparent at first.

These natives tend to be fundamentally very wild, but are usually rather repressive of this side of their personality as they are unresolved with it. They can nevertheless suffer from poor self-control, and can be rebellious and outspoken in inappropriate circumstances, at times to their own detriment.

They have strong desires and are compelled to do their own thing and conduct themselves their own way, which tends in unusual and often somewhat controversial directions, but are also horribly afraid to be rejected by people, so tensions engendered by this inner conflict can be great. Which "side" will win over depends on how big the tensions have become. Similarly, they may feel pressure to "fake" a more likeable character, to which they would reply according to the Sun's sign and any conjunctions to it, but usually they resent it. It will still not keep them from doing what they want more clandestinely. In a weak personality these tensions can cause great angst, and despair can have negative consequences. These natives may feel that nobody really knows the real person within them.
