Obtaining a natal chart

In order to having your natal chart calculated, you must gather the following information:

1. Full date of birth
2. City of birth
3. Time of birth

The time of birth should be as exact as possible. It may be available at the hospital where you were born. Approximate time can be used, but sometimes a few minutes can be enough for a fast-moving point such as the ascendant to change signs, or for a planet to change house. Still, many fundamental aspects retain an influence throughout the day.

When you have these at your disposal, you can use Astro.com to have your chart drawn, as follows:

1. Open Astro.com homepage (better open it in a new window)
   
   
2. Click on Free horoscopes on the top
   
   
3. On the right column select Extended Chart Selection
   
   
4. Open the Chart drawing style dropdown and select Web default style
   
   
5. Under Options, open the House System dropdown and select Equal
   
   
6. Click on the Click here to show the chart button
   
   
7. If it is your first time on the Astro.com website, you will be presented with an option to use the website as a guest. Click on click here to go to the data entry page.
   
   
8. Enter all your birth information, and press Continue
   
   
9. Right-click on the astrological chart and save it on your computer.
